Hotel Le A: so chic, so cool, so hip, so artistic, so design and so homey.
Why “Le A”?
One day the artist Fabrice Hyber sketched the letter “A” and started to laugh. “A” is the first letter of many alphabets, it sounds nice spoken aloud and because of this seemed like a good name for a hotel. Once we started to look for connections to the letter “A”, everything converged: “A” for rue d’Artois, “A” for Alphabet (26 rooms), “A” for Art (the hotel itself is an art gallery). Finally, an elongated the letter “A” resembles the Eiffel Tower, which can be seen from the hotel.
After many months of work in 2003, this modern luxury hotel opened its doors to the public.
The 19th century facade and glass roof have been preserved. The interior space has been remodeled to resemble a large private home. Hotel Le A is not a boutique hotel, it is a space designed to be a true urban home, a real place to live.
Decorated with the alphabet in mind, the 26 rooms and suites each contain a unique work of art by Fabrice Hyber.
Comfort features strongly. The environment was designed by Frédéric Mechiche, whose work focuses on artistic creation, colors, materials and light.
